At Bumblebees Day Nursery, Government-funded hours can be used within our available session times. Any funded hours used within a session will be deducted accordingly, with any additional hours charged at the standard hourly rate.

Freshly Prepared Food
Our nursery has an on-site chef who prepares nutritious meals daily. Children enjoy freshly prepared:
Breakfast
Morning snacks
Lunch
Afternoon snacks
Tea
Food charges are included within the session extras listed above.
Non-Food Consumables
Our consumables contribution helps provide everyday essentials including:
Toilet paper
Tissues
Additional wet wipes
Nappy sacks
Laundered sheets and blankets
Sun cream
This contribution helps ensure children have everything they need throughout the day without families needing to provide additional supplies.
Activities & Enrichment
We currently do not charge separately for the many additional experiences we provide, including:
Graduation celebrations
Christmas parties
Stay and Play sessions
Animal and pony visits
Egg hatching experiences
Weekly PE sessions
Special events and enrichment activities
These activities are currently included as part of our overall nursery provision.
Funding Information
Government funding covers childcare hours only.
Funded hours provided by the Local Authority do not cover:
Meals and snacks
Consumables
Additional enrichment activities
These items appear separately on invoices as Chargeable Extras.
We understand some families may prefer to access funded hours only. An opt-out option is available for families who wish to attend funded sessions without additional chargeable extras. Please speak to the Nursery Manager for further information.

The Hive Holiday Club (Ages 4–11)
Holiday Club includes snacks. Packed lunch required unless hot lunch option is purchased.
