Bumblebees has four dedicated areas for each age group:-
Our Ladybirds main room and sensory room caters for our smallest treasures ranging from 0-18 months. These rooms are warm and welcoming, making the children feel at ease and happy to explore many different experiences. We can cater for twelve children throughout this area. We also have a large separate cot room where your children can enjoy a peaceful rest. Your children will be cared for by their designated key person allowing them to build a secure relationship together and ensure your child’s individual routine is followed.
The Caterpillar room consists of three separate areas for the 12-24 month olds where your child will have the opportunity to learn and play with their friends. The areas include a main play room, a role play area and a messy room. All three areas are well planned and equipped for your child’s interests to ensure they develop and learn through their play opportunities. Your child will always have a designated key person who is responsible for your child’s main care and development. This area can also cater for up to twelve children.

The Bees room is for our active 2 year olds! This room has a large main play area plus two side rooms for the children to access new play opportunities including messy play, a book area and role play to name but a few. The room has its own bathroom where the children are encouraged to be independent as we support them with potty training, hand washing and good hygiene routines. Your child’s designated key person will support their development and help prepare them to become strong independent individuals.

Our Butterflies room is for our 3-4 year olds. This room has a large main area, an exploration room and a literacy room. The children are supported and encouraged to make healthy choices and develop their own independence skills by self selection of toys and materials. Free flow opportunities into the garden help your child develop self confidence, stretch their imagination and build their esteem to ensure they are well prepared for their new life at school. Your child’s key worker will get to know their interests, abilities, likes and dislikes, to ensure when planning with the curriculum, their full learning potential is maximised.
We also have a large, secured outside garden that all children throughout their day can explore and enjoy.
